The second General Assembly meeting was held at Tecnalia in San Sebastian, Spain on 24-25 October, 2024. Delegates from project partners EDP, Aerones, Alerion, University of Leeds, Front Technologies Ltd and the host Tecnalia had a productive meeting across two days at Tecnalia’s headquarters, reviewing project progresses and planning the next stage of work on system integration and field trials of the whole robotic system on wind turbine blades in 2025. A site tour at Tecnalia allowed all other partners to witness the extensive facilities and equipment which were amazing. A further tour at Alerion’s test field showed the impressive drone-based inspection techniques at Alerion.
