First meeting for system integration

The first system integration meeting was held at Aerones in Riga, Latvia on the 6th of August 2024. Delegates from project partners EDP, Tecnalia, University of Leeds, Front Technologies Ltd, and the host Aerones had a fruitful whole day meeting. Various issues regarding system integration of the inspection and repair kits with the robotic deployment system were discussed. Moreover, a site tour of Aerones was arranged, which allowed all the other partners to have a firsthand view of Aerones’ impressive design, prototyping and testing facilities. By witnessing a variety of amazing testing scenarios at Aerones, which involved, among others, robotic arms with multi-functionalities, in-house repair of wind turbine blade segments, the project consortium is confident that the field trial of the project will be fully implemented on schedule.
